Last minute halloween costumes with fabric
You’ve got no time to loose and want to make those halloween costumes right away? Why not make a costume with some fabric scraps lying around? Got a black or white shirt and matching trousers for your kiddo? Use those to make a fun costume.
For this little devil you just need a black cape and red felt. Cut triangles out of the felt and apply them to a headband. There you go…your little devil is ready to go.
For this little angel you only need a white dress and angel wings. If you don’t have any glue white feathers to a wing-shaped cardboard. As a bonus you can make a sweet star fishing line.
Mummies are easy costumes
Mummies are as easy as 1…2…3. Just use gauze bandages and wrap them around your kiddo. Glue them together at the end. With a little black make up it even looks scarier.
The classic: a white ghost
A real classic and the easiest one of all is the ghost. All you need is a white bedsheet. Put holes into the sheet for your eyes and that’s it. A cool fun costume made in seconds. For those really busy moms and dads. The best last minute Halloween costume there is.
Your kid loves magic?
A magical costume in sight? This is for you if your kiddo loves magic. All you need is a blue hat and cape. Sew silver stars onto the cape and hat. A magic wand (and telescope for that matter) can be made with an empty kitchen roll and glitter tape. Now who is looking great in this wizard costume?
Witches all around
Witches are the new black. Just take a black shirt, black trousers (or a skirt and leggings) and put them on your kiddo. Then all you need is a black witches hat. Spruce up this costume by making a broom: collect twigs and a big stick outside and wrap a string around the twigs. You’ve got your own DIY witch broom there.
