A tutorial – how to make the free farm bunting

Let’s start making this bunting – it’s a great décor for your kids room. This template is not your usual farm coloring pages – it is also a bunting. All you need is the printed template, scissors, ribbon and tape to hang the bunting on the wall.

The first step is to let your kids color in the black and white fruits pennants. Tell them more about farms and explain about the food that grows there. See, they’ve already learned a bit more about farms.

The next step is to cut out the pennants along the lines. Cut along the black lines, older kids can cut the pennant themselves. Please be careful when kids have scissors and supervise them at all times.

Now it is time to thread the cord into the garland. Punch a little hole with your scissor into the template where the hole is shown. Thread the cord into the garland. Any ribbon is fine.

The last step: hang the bunting with the integrated farm coloring pages into the room of your kids. Now it’s time to learn more about farm animals: point to the animal you want to explain more about and your kid has to guess which animal it is. Take books to read more about the animals or watch my educational video about farm animals.

Maybe you’ll even visit a farm nearby and watch real farm animals? If you make and post this, don’t forget to tag #learningkiddos in your profile.

A little info on my crafts

Every week I make free crafts and educational videos for you. I hope they are fun for you and your kids to make.

For this I illustrate all of the pictures on my iPad Pro in Procreate. When you enjoy my crafts, check out my YouTube channel or follow me on Instagram. I plan making a newsletter every week too, but so far I was so busy making all the content for you.

Because this content is free I am planning to get a little bit of money back with adverts. I hope this is okay for you. This way my crafts can always stay free forever.
