Tutorial how to make the fun farm crafts

Let’s start making those two fun farm crafts. You will need: the downloaded template, thick paper (28 lbs. or up), scissors and glue or a glue gun.

First download the template by clicking the button above. Next print the template on thick letter-sized paper. It’s best to use 28 lbs. and up. Please check out first what kind of paper your printer can handle.

Now let’s fold the template according to the video below. Scroll to the end of this post to find it.

The last step is to glue the ends of it together so you can make the dice. This can be a bit tricky, but here is a trick: First glue all the edges and then start making the dice by pressing the glued ends firmly together. Hold for a few seconds and move on to the next edge. This way it works perfect and you are not left with a dice that is falling apart. Alternatively you can use a glue gun.

The fun part: let’s play “Making the sounds of farm animals and moving like them”. Roll the dice and do what you see. Enjoy!

Maybe you’ll even visit a farm nearby? If you make the dice, don’t forget to tag #learningkiddos in your profile.

An educational video about farm animals

Now that you’ve made this cool craft maybe you are interested in watching an educational video about farm animals? Check out the video below. Are you interested in watching the tutorial video instead? Scroll down to the end of the post.

Background information about my crafts

Every week I make free content for you to download – this week farm crafts. I make crafts and printables, educational videos and more. At the moment I also work part-time as a content creator/social media expert/ marketing manager at an interior company. My goal is to post a free craft for a year every week. I will then silo the content into topics (frogs, farm, dogs etc) and make free homeschool units for you.

The crazy pandemic years have shown me that there is also something else then just work, that’s why I want to give you those crafts for free. On the other hand it takes quite a bit of work and I am thinking about monetizing the blog one day by applying for an ad network. Thumbs up that they will like my blog.

I love to be creative and I also make fonts and pattern designs. So if you want to give back, please make sure to check out my links at the end of this post where you can buy fabrics or fonts from me.

Maybe this blog will evolve into sewing ideas, too. I plan starting sewing this autumn, but for now I will focus my energy on nourishing this blog, making patterns and fonts.
